I once read that if you want to make money in fitness, then make it complicated and if you want to get fit, make it simple. I have found this to be very true. Learning how to get in shape is super simple and I will show you how.
First let me give you some credentials on me and why I know what I am talking about. I am Joshua and I run a pro-aging clinic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My clients range from professional bodybuilders and fitness models to your average Joe that is over 40 years old. My business partner is a Bodybuilder and I employ some incredible doctors. I have been involved in the fitness industry for a very long time and it is my job to get people in shape so that they keep coming back and business keeps rolling.
Now this diet is based on how bodybuilders and professional fitness models eat. That may sound intimidating or you may think that you don't want to look like a bodybuilder. That is not the point. These fitness pros have been perfecting the art of bro science for decades and they have mastered the impossible art of building muscle while losing fat. The majority of my clients are men and women over the age of 40 and this diet has worked without fail.
6 – 8 meals per day consisting of lean meat, slow carb and vegetables.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to get slow carbs in with every meal if you want to build muscle. Anytime someone gets to a plateau we ask and everytime it is because they are not eating slow carbs. If you are looking to cut fat then focus more on meat and veggies, but we recommend building as much muscle as possible for 3 months then focus the next 3 months on cutting.
lean meats – small white fish, chicken, turkey and red meat on occassion
slow carbs – sweet potatoes, quinoa, beans and lentils
vegetables – any vegetables are great, but broccoli is best as it naturally flushes out estrogen. Asparagus flushes out built up water weight so it is great also.
Slow carbs are crucial to putting on lots of weight. The other trick for growth is to bring a bag of protein shake mix with boiled sweet potatoes and honey with you to the gym. The sweet potatoes are best if boiled the day before and left in the fridge then added cold to the ziplock back of protein and honey. Have them mix it with water before you leave. Your body goes catabolic after 20 minutes from exercising meaning it starts to eat itself and muscle is the first thing to go.
Last thing is cardio. I hate cardo so I do my best to get the most out of it and do as little as possible. Only do cardio when your blood sugar levels are low. This would be right when you wake up or right after the gym. Otherwise it takes 45 minutes of cardio to get your blood sugar levels low enough to start burning fat.
So that is the diet. It is super simple, but super tough to execute on. For muscle building just the sheer number of meals is the most difficult part.
If you want to take things to the next level then hormone replacement therapy is your best option.
